Do you know why teaching is symbolized with an apple? As early as the 16th century, teachers were gifted with apples as a token of appreciation, but they were also given as payment. Nowadays, giving your teacher an apple may not be as exciting as it used to be, but this Resin Apple Jar is a great substitution. Made with resin and sparkling glitter, this apple jar can be filled with anything you'd like to give along with the jar (think small treats, paper clips, and other small objects) for your favorite teacher. When closed, the jar can be put on display on the teacher's desk as a reminder of how appreciated they are!

April is Autism Awareness Month, so I wanted to share something creative I made to celebrate. My daughter is autistic, so this is a pretty special month. Awareness months and causes are usually represented with a colored ribbon. Autism is typically represented with a puzzle piece, so I made a resin shaker keychain in the shape of an awareness ribbon and filled it with multi-colored puzzle piece confetti! This is a pretty simple project, and can be customized with any color to represent other causes.
