I love making bookmarks. This time, instead of a printable, I decided to try my hand at using resin and a ton of glitter to make one! In case you didn't know, have been learning to use resin in all different ways, and share tutorials at the Resin Crafts blog. I had some extra resin from one of those projects and decided use it to make a bookmark. It was so fun and easy to make, so I wanted to share how you can make some Glittered Resin Bookmarks, too!! To all my fellow Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter fans, this one is for you! I absolutely love everything that has to do with the world of Harry Potter, and am especially loving Fantastic Beasts lately. I have really enjoyed using my Harry Potter bookmarks and I was inspired to create these Fantastic Beasts character bookmarks that I think you'll love, too!

We have watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them multiple times, and can't wait for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in November!

Download and print the bookmarks on cardstock. Use a paper trimmer or scissors and cut out the bookmarks. Laminate the bookmarks if you want them to last longer.

Brighten someone else's day with these Free Printable Rainbow Bookmarks inspired by Maya Angelou!

Can't we all agree that the world can use a little more kindness? Maya Angelou is such an inspiration, and I love her quote about how we can all "be a rainbow in someone else's cloud," no matter who they are. I know I have personally had a ton of "cloudy" times in my life, and I'll always remember those who showed me kindness in those dark times and became a "rainbow" shining through.

I was inspired by this quote to make these Free Printable Rainbow Bookmarks to serve as a reminder for all of us to be that person who shows others kindness, no matter who they are. Even small things like a smile, a compliment, or a helpful hand can mean so much to someone who is having a dark day.

After you've printed the bookmarks, use a paper cutter or scissors to separate all the bookmarks. Next, use scissors to cut around the top of the clouds. Guess what? That's all you need to do!

Free Printable Lorax Corner Bookmark

Celebrate Dr Seuss' birthday with Free Printable Lorax Corner Bookmarks!

Books by Dr. Seuss were my favorites growing up and I still love reading them with my daughter now. Whether you are just learning to read or have been reading for years, Dr. Seuss books are always a good read. The Lorax is one of my favorite books, so I made a printable Lorax bookmark to save your spot. These bookmarks are easy to make. All you have to do is print it out and fold to save your place or to share with your friends, family, or classroom!

Download and print out the Lorax Corner Bookmark by clicking the link below. Use scissors to cut out the bookmark. Take your time when cutting around that crazy mustache!

Use a scoring tool and a ruler to crease the guidelines. This will help make the paper easier to fold.

Fold the bookmark along the lines and crease well.

Add some glue or use a tape runner to add adhesive to one of the blank triangles of the bookmark.

Fold the other side over and press the paper together well.

To use the bookmark, place the corner of the page into the pocket of the bookmark. Now you can close your book and your place is saved! Such an easy and fun bookmark to make! For best results, print the bookmarks on cardstock.

Download Free Printable Thanksgiving Bookmarks for kids of all ages to color!

I am helping to plan my daughter's classroom Thanksgiving party and our Thanksgiving dinner at home, and thought it would be fun to make all the kids some Thanksgiving bookmarks to color! This activity will give kids (of all ages!) time to enjoy coloring as well as have something to take home to encourage reading.

Print the bookmarks out on a heavier paper, like cardstock. Line the paper up on a paper cutter or use scissors to cut them out. Congratulations - the hardest part is now done!

There are seven Thanksgiving bookmarks on a page, which is great for parties or giving a group of kids something to do. Get those colored pencils ready because this is going to be so FUN!

Adventures with LEGO DC Superhero Girls

Thanks to LEGO for sending us the DC Superhero Girls sets that inspired the Free Printable DC Superhero Girls Bookmarks. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My daughter absolutely loves the DC Superhero Girls. She's seen the movies and reads the books whenever possible. They are an amazing team that inspires confidence, friendship, and adventure! We had so much fun putting this post together, and wanted to share some Free Printable DC Superhero Girls Bookmarks for you to use and share with your friends!

LEGO has been incredibly awesome to send us a few LEGO DC Superhero Girls sets to play with! My daughter has spent hours building, playing, and rebuilding these sets and we would definitely recommend them if you're looking for holiday gift ideas or something new for your child to build.

The Batgirl Batjet Chase lets you help recover Batgirl’s ePad from the evil Kryptomite! With 206 pieces and recommended for ages 7-12, this set includes easy-to-follow instructions for an age-appropriate build and play experience. 

The Batgirl mini-doll figure looks just like the DC Superhero Girls character, complete with wings and costume details!

Batgirl is a tech genius and an amazing detective. Even though she doesn’t have superpowers in the traditional sense, Batgirl is an amazing problem solver who never gives up. She always pushes the limits beyond what everyone expects of her.

Building the Batjet was SO much fun!! With opening cockpit, stud shooters on the wings, net launcher on the front and storage space for Batgirl’s ePad, the Batjet was probably the most difficult and rewarding builds my daughter has completed! She did the entire thing on her own, and was so proud of herself once it was done.

The Kryptomite might be a quick little troublemaker, but Batgirl is too smart for his shenanigans. You can actually fire the stud shooters and launch the net to capture the Kryptomite’s buggy!!

Recommended for ages 7-12, this 142-piece set offers age-appropriate build and play experience. The Bumblebee Helicopter Set includes everything you need to help Bumblebee protect her shipment of crystals from the evil Kryptomites!

The star of the set is the Bumblebee mini-doll figure! She's got all the details of the DC Superhero Girls character, complete with wings and awesome hairstyle.

Unlike the mini-doll figures from the previous sets, Lashina is a villain! With a Kryptomite minion at her side, you can tell that they are both up to no good!!

Krypto is in for a big fight, but we all know that good will win when it comes to DC Superhero Girls!! You can break Krypto out of the tank to free him. Defeated, Lashina and her Kryptomite minion can roll away in the tank to fight the DC Superhero Girls another day...

We are slowly, but surely building up a collection of the LEGO DC Superhero Girls team! My daughter has been having a blast building and creating scenes for the heroes to save the day. I love how much the DC Superhero Girls teach my daughter that she can be to be who she wants to be and give her the confidence that girls can do anything!!
