Since I can't visit Universal Studios more often to get my Butterbeer fix, I've found a Muggle alternative. This 3-Ingredient Butterbeer recipe is a delightfully simple copycat recipe that only takes minutes to conjure up. Now you can start off your next movie marathon with a "cheers" to Butterbeer!

Making crafts inspired by Harry Potter is one of my favorite things - in fact, I love it so much that I wrote a Harry Potter craft book full of crafts and recipes! Usually my projects are dedicated to the heroes of the story, but today is all about the bad guys - Death Eaters.

If you aren't familiar with the Death Eater characters from the books, they are a group of evil wizards and witches who are followers of You-Know-Who (aka Lord Voldemort). Members of this group recognize each other by the "Dark Mark", a tattoo-like sigil branded on their left forearm. The Dark Mark takes the form of a skull with a snake coming out of the mouth in place of a tongue.

Needless to say, I really enjoyed creating this stunning pair of Dark Mark Earrings using my xTool M1 laser cutter. These earrings an incredible accessory for any dark wizard, and would definitely be a magical handmade gift for fellow Potterheads. Not only am I going to walk you through the process of making these earrings step-by-step, but I'm sharing the FREE laser cut file so that you can make a pair for yourself!

When I was younger, I made many attempts to complete a cross stitch project. Eventually, my floss would get tangled up or I would lose my space in the pattern and just give up. After working with Anchor Embroidery Floss Spools and loving it, I decided to give cross stitching another chance. I'm so glad I did!! Not only are we major Potterheads, but my daughter and I are also huge book nerds as well. To combine our love of magic and reading, I decided to make a fun cut file to declare that my Patronus could certainly be a bookworm. This cut file can be used to create so many projects using your Cricut (or vinyl cutting machine). I used a variety of colorful HTV to create a new library tote bag, and I am SO excited with how it turned out.

One of my favorite quotes from the Harry Potter series is "Don't let the Muggles get you down." Ron Weasley's encouraging words to Harry have always stood out to me as a quote to live by. No matter how hard you try, there will always be "muggles" around who won't be able to see the magic inside you. Keep your head up and surround yourself with good friends (like Ron and Hermione) who see the truly magical wizard that you really are!!

I wanted to put this quote on display so that I could see it every day. By using my Ikonart kit, I was able to easily create a stencil to paint the quote onto a sign. It was so simple to make, and I absolutely love how it turned out!

Hogwarts is a truly magical place. Oh, how I wish the world of Harry Potter were real so that I could live there!
