Surprise a My Little Pony fan with a My Little Pony-themed Easter Basket!

My daughter has always loved My Little Pony. She had so much fun with the My Little Pony: The Movie basket I put together for her last year, so I decided to do it again this year. There are so many fun My Little Pony products available for both new and long-time fans, which makes putting these baskets together so much fun!

Surprise a My Little Pony fan with a My Little Pony Easter Basket overflowing with their favorite characters!

Instead of traditional baskets filled to the brim with sugary sweets, I have really enjoyed putting together themed Easter baskets for the past few years instead. My latest creation is this My Little Pony: The Movie-inspired Easter basket filled with all kinds of magical goodies! My daughter has adored My Little Pony her entire life, and that love only boomed after seeing the movie in theaters last year. I can't wait to see her face on Easter morning when she finally gets to see this basket!

To get started on a themed gift basket, you should first take a look at all of the fun My Little Pony products that are out there! We put together a few of our favorites and started from there (more details below!). You can find these My Little Pony products at most major retailers and HasbroToysShop.com.

Next, find something to hold all of your Easter goodies. I found the cutest square plastic container for $3 that will be perfect for organizing the toys later! Layer some tissue paper and iridescent Easter grass in the container. Now you're ready to assemble the basket!

I also found a few inexpensive My Little Pony items to go along with the toys. A coloring book, a notepad for writing down magical ideas, and an adorable Pinkie Pie plush clip to put on a backpack. Of course, we also tossed in the My Little Pony: The Movie on DVD!

The Sunset Shimmer Equestria Girls Classic doll brings the magic of friendship and adventures of Canterlot High to life! This Sunset Shimmer doll is dressed in a studded faux-leather vest and brightly colored outfit, complete with a bracelet and rockin' ankle boots. My daughter has always been a My Little Pony fan. The characters are just adorable! We went to see the new film, My Little Pony: The Movie. Needless to say, my daughter LOVED it and is counting down the days until we bring it home to watch it non-stop! My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree Movie Night

Did you know that there's a new My Little Pony Equestria Girls movie coming to Netflix on October 1st? It's called My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree and it looks like such a fun adventure! Here's the official trailer to give you an idea of what the storyline is about:

My daughter couldn't be more excited about the new movie, so we decided to invite a few of her friends over for a My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree Movie Night! The movie night is going to be a lot of fun and I'm excited to share our ideas and a FREE printable with you. There's also an awesome giveaway at the end of this post, so be sure to enter to win!

After you've made your basic plans, the most important step to any party is to get invitations sent out! I've created some free printable My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree movie night invitations that you are welcome to use for your own party. Print on cardstock, then fill in the information. Voila!!

Since the movie is based in "Camp Everfree", I decided to bring a camping theme into the movie night. The girls will get to build a fort, and have blankets and pillows to snuggle in as they watch the movie on Netflix. Along with popcorn, our party guests will also get to create some colorful Rainbow Magic S'mores!!

Getting the marshmallows to be different colors is easy peasy. In a small bowl, pour just enough water to cover half a marshmallow. Add in a generous amount of liquid or gel food coloring to the water and mix well. BTW - I really REALLY love how vibrant the neon set of food coloring is!!

Obviously, mix each color in a separate bowl and create as many or as few colors as you'd like. Grab a marshmallow and carefully dunk it into one of the colors and immediately pull it out and set it color-side up on a plate. Once it's dry, dip the other end into another color! If you don't want to wait for it to dry, you can also poke a toothpick into the wet end and dip it into the other color. I would recommend only dipping it into two different colors so you don't make the marshmallows too mushy.

Let the marshmallows dry completely before turning them into s'mores! They will just be a sticky, gooey mess (not in a good way) otherwise. So, once they've dried, you can dump those marshmallows onto a plate to be transformed into a roasty, toasty s'more.

To make things easier, I grabbed some fudge striped cookies to hold the marshmallows instead of the traditional graham crackers and chocolate pieces. The s'mores are colorfully delicious and are sure to be a hit at our My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree movie night!

Last, but not least, we are also going to have some play time with some My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree dolls including Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy who want to put their best fashion forward at Camp Everfree! Each doll comes with a boho chic outfit, shoes, and a necklace that can be scanned to unlock more fun in the Hasbro My Little Pony Equestria Girls app like clothing, games or coins.

DIY Custom Lunch Box

This year is my daughter's first year of school and she's so excited! When we were making a list of supplies she'd need for school, she was adamant that she needed have her very own lunch box with her name on it. No problem, kid! With a little help from my handy Cricut and some fun colored vinyl from Expressions Vinyl, I knew we could whip up a custom lunch box in no time (and you can, too!)!

Free Printable My Little Pony Bingo

My daughter absolutely loves everything My Little Pony! For her birthday, she planned out an entire My Little Pony-themed party all on her own, including some My Little Pony Bingo to play with her friends at the party. Of course, I obliged, and here is the free printable to share with you!

Game Instructions
1. Pick some kind of object to mark your squares: mini marshmallows, beans, M&Ms, smarties, wrapped candy, cereal, or any other small items like buttons work great!
2. Give each player a Bingo card and markers. Have each player put a marker over the free space.
3. The caller will draw a calling piece and announce the item on the card. Each player will cover that item on their card with a marker. Once a player has 5 squares covered in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), they call out "BINGO!" and win the game!

To lengthen the life of the prints, I would recommend printing the Bingo cards and calling pieces on cardstock and laminating. All files are 8.5x11 inches and put together in a single PDF format.
