Father's Day Candy Bar Wrapper

Thanks to Elmer's for the glue used in this post. All opinions are my own.

Put together this Free Printable Father's Day Candy Bar Wrapper and Questionnaire for dad this year!

Father's Day gifts from kids are pretty much the cutest thing ever. Especially if it includes their handwriting! This free printable Father's Day candy bar wrapper is simple to put together and is a gift that any father (or grandfather) would love!!

Free Printable Father's Day Candy Bar Wrapper and Questionnaire at artsyfartsymama.com

Print out the Father's Day Candy Bar Wrapper printable (link at the end of the post) on regular copy paper or cardstock and cut out all the pieces. There are 3 different color sets (blue, green, and purple) and each one includes the front with a to/from space, back piece, tie, and questionnaire.

Use Elmer's glue on your Father's Day projects!

This Father's Day wrapper is SO simple to put together. You can do it for the kids, or they can do the gluing themselves. I would recommend Elmer's Glue Sticks or Elmer's Rubber Cement for the younger kids, and the Elmer's CraftBond® Permanent Dot Runner is quick and easy for older kids and adults. These glues dry faster than the white school glue and won't wrinkle your paper at all. The Dot Runner sticks immediately, so that's really my favorite way to go!!

On the front piece, there are guides toward the top. Cut the two horizontal lines at the "shoulder". DO NOT cut the diagonal lines!! Once the horizontal lines have been cut, carefully fold them in toward the center following the diagonal fold guides. Open the collars back up and add some glue along the top edge as shown in the top image with the red dotted lines. Press the collars down and smooth them out. If using rubber cement or glue stick, hold them down until the glue dries.

Now you have your shirt collar!

To attach the tie, flip the tie piece over and add glue down the center as shown with the red dotted line. Carefully flip it over, and center it under the collar flaps and press it down. Hold until glue dries if necessary.

To turn the shirt card into a pocket or wrapper to hold a candy bar, add glue to the three sides of the back piece as shown above. Lay the front piece on top aligning the bottom and side edges. You could also flip the front piece over, and lay the back piece on top glue side down. Whatever is easier for you!

That's it! Now your Father's Day Candy Bar Wrapper is complete! Fill in the to/from lines with pencil, pen, or markers.

Personally, my favorite part of Father's and Mother's Day gifts are the fun questionnaires for kids to fill out. Once your questionnaire is done, you can slip it into the wrapper or glue it on the back of the wrapper with glue you've already been using.

As far as candy goes, the best candy bars that will fit in this Father's Day Candy Bar Wrapper are Hershey bars (any flavors), Crunch, Reese's and even the Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups. You can use anything you want, but I've found that most other candy bars are too thick and bent or ripped the wrapper.

I would love to hear your stories about your funnest dad memory, what fun thing your dad has taught you to make, and/or what fun games do your husbands play with your own children.

You Are Loved Blocks: perfect for Mother's Day, Teacher Appreciation, or for yourself!

I love creating projects out of wood. These blocks are such a quick and simple craft that anyone can do - even the kids can help! The vinyl might be a little tricky for the smaller kids, but with a little help, it is certainly doable. I already had all the supplies, so this project literally cost me nothing. If you were to buy everything, I would think you'd spend less than $10.
