Fill an Easter basket with Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy pets to surprise a Littlest Pet Shop fan!

Put together a Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy Easter Basket

We've been watching Littlest Pet Shop for years, and my daughter has an ever growing collection of the adorable pets. Instead of a traditional basket filled with candy, I am working on some fun themed Easter baskets with her favorite toys.

This Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy Easter Basket features some of the latest pets in the LPS collection! These pets are designed to resemble tasty treats. Fans can collect, mix and swirl chocolate, vanilla or strawberry pets adorned with sparkle and glitter. Perfect for a little extra cuteness in Easter baskets this year!

I found a large, metallic plastic Easter egg to hold all of the goodies instead of a basket. Open up the egg, and fill the bottom with some Easter grass. I also found some brightly colored metallic eggs to coordinate!

Each one covered in colorful frosting deco, the Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy Pack includes 13 teensie-scale pets (one is a multicolor mystery!), 4 habitats, and 4 clips with charms. This baker's dozen set of treat-themed pets represent vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors. These pets are a delicious start to any Littlest Pet Shop collection!

Put together a Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy Easter Basket

There are 4 different "habitats" with a base that you can put a pet on. The lids have a clip with charm so you can take your pets wherever you go! I enclosed a pet in each habitat, and put them into the basket. I split the rest of the pets into groups of 4 and put them in plastic eggs.

The Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy Friends and Littlest Pet Shop Frosting Frenzy BFFs are the perfect size for egg fillers! The Friends set features 8 pets, including a sheep, a swan, and a sloth. There's also one mystery pet that could possibly be part of a different flavor set! Colorful frosting deco covers the heads of these tasty looking figures. Just remember that they’re to play with, and not to eat!

The BFF set is a delectable duo of Wild Pets with shimmery pink frosting deco on their heads. An elephant (Macaron Elefen), and her monkey pal (Cocolina Monkley) get along like chocolate and vanilla!

These 4 mini and 4 teensie-scale pets are all the same color of the delicious yellow vanilla treats. I paired a mini and a teensie pet and put them in an egg together, and paired the mystery pet with the checklist. I left the BFF set in its packaging to be the star of the basket.

Once all of the eggs are filled with little pets, arrange all of the goodies in the large egg, and put the top back on. Easter morning will be like a matryoshka full of Littlest Pet Shop surprises! This is a great gift to spark more imaginative play and is also a "sweet" choice for other occasions like birthdays and Christmas.

Surprise a LEGO fan with a unique DIY LEGO Easter Basket!

Surprise a LEGO fan with a unique LEGO Easter Basket!

As much as I love Easter candy, I have been trying to lessen the sugar when it comes to the Easter basket. Themed Easter baskets are so much fun to make, like this LEGO Elves Easter Basket I made for my daughter a few years go. This year, I decided to put together a LEGO-themed basket full of amazing LEGO goodies that every LEGO fan is sure to love.

Surprise a LEGO fan with a unique LEGO Easter Basket!

The star of the LEGO Easter Basket is the LEGO BrickHeadz Easter Bunny! Recommended for ages 10+, this 126 piece character is the perfect seasonal gift. The set features decorated eyes, movable ears, a detachable carrot and bucket, 2 Easter eggs and flowers. Best of all, it stands on a buildable collector's baseplate for easy display in the home, office or anywhere you'd like!

Another fun surprise for the basket is a LEGO Friends bagged set and the LEGO City Hot Dog Cart and Vendor! Each set comes with instructions, and all the pieces you need - including a minifigure. These kinds of sets are very affordable and quick for kids of all ages to build.

Instead of just tossing the bagged set into the basket, I opened the packages up (separately) and got some shimmery and colorful plastic Easter eggs.

Grab a few of the pieces and place them into the eggs. Make sure that you include the instructions. Since these sets can be a little more of a quicker build, you can make the fun last by building a little bit at a time! I plan on putting the eggs right into the basket, but you could also use this idea in an Easter egg hunt for a fun surprise.

Minifigure blind bags are also a fun surprise to add to a basket AND pop into Easter eggs! Each LEGO Batman Minifigure Mystery Bag contains 1 of the 20 characters available in this collection to build to play with! Every bag also includes one or more accessory elements, a collector's leaflet and a display plate with a printed Batman logo.

Last, but not least, I added in the LEGO Friends Stephanie's Bedroom set. This 95 piece set is built on a blue heart-shaped base, which perfectly reflects Stephanie’s sporty personality! Stephanie can hop into bed to relax after a hard day’s training while her dog, Dash chills in the doghouse. The room even has its own mini golf putting green with a ball and golf club! Other accessories include a mobile phone to call friends, an alarm clock and a trophy to show Stephanie's sporting achievements.

I found a blue metal basket for $3 that works great for an Easter basket as well as for a way to organize LEGOs later! I tied a blue ribbon around the basket and filled it with some yellow tissue paper and Easter grass to dress it up. Last, arrange all of the LEGO goodies and filled Easter eggs and the basket is ready for the big day!!

Surprise a LEGO fan with a unique LEGO Easter Basket!

For kids who aren't into LEGO Friends, simply switch out the set. Kids will be playing at micro lightspeed with the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Microfighter! Recommended for ages 6-12, this 92 piece set features lots of authentic detailing, 2 stud shooters and seat on top of the Millenium Falcon for the Chewbacca minifigure to sit with his bowcaster.

Surprise a LEGO fan with a unique LEGO Easter Basket!

This LEGO Easter Basket is such a fun gift idea that will spark more imaginative play for the LEGO fan in your life! Not only is it a fantastic Easter basket, but it's also a great gift idea for other occasions like birthdays and Christmas. Surprise a My Little Pony fan with a My Little Pony Easter Basket overflowing with their favorite characters!

My Little Pony Easter Basket

Instead of traditional baskets filled to the brim with sugary sweets, I have really enjoyed putting together themed Easter baskets for the past few years instead. My latest creation is this My Little Pony: The Movie-inspired Easter basket filled with all kinds of magical goodies! My daughter has adored My Little Pony her entire life, and that love only boomed after seeing the movie in theaters last year. I can't wait to see her face on Easter morning when she finally gets to see this basket!

My Little Pony Easter Basket

To get started on a themed gift basket, you should first take a look at all of the fun My Little Pony products that are out there! We put together a few of our favorites and started from there (more details below!). You can find these My Little Pony products at most major retailers and HasbroToysShop.com.

Next, find something to hold all of your Easter goodies. I found the cutest square plastic container for $3 that will be perfect for organizing the toys later! Layer some tissue paper and iridescent Easter grass in the container. Now you're ready to assemble the basket!

My Little Pony Easter Basket

I also found a few inexpensive My Little Pony items to go along with the toys. A coloring book, a notepad for writing down magical ideas, and an adorable Pinkie Pie plush clip to put on a backpack. Of course, we also tossed in the My Little Pony: The Movie on DVD!

My Little Pony Easter Basket

The Sunset Shimmer Equestria Girls Classic doll brings the magic of friendship and adventures of Canterlot High to life! This Sunset Shimmer doll is dressed in a studded faux-leather vest and brightly colored outfit, complete with a bracelet and rockin' ankle boots. Her cutie mark is represented in the shiny pattern on her top. Each of the seven dolls in the collection stand 11″ tall and feature 7 points of articulation making it easy for kids to recreate their favorite scenes.

My Little Pony Easter Basket

This Glitter and Glow Princess Celestia figure will brighten everypony's day! She looks glamorous with her glittery wings and royal tiara and necklace accessories. When you press her sun-shaped cutie mark, she magically lights up, twinkles, and changes colors. Imagine she is channeling her magic when the colors change while recreating adventures from the movie!

My Little Pony Easter Basket

The My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle & Songbird Serenade Festival Friends Set will inspire stories, like how Twilight Sparkle is helping Songbird Serenade practice before the anticipated Friendship Festival, or how Twilight is getting ready to cheer in the front row as Songbird Serenade rocks out on stage with her signature pink bow and microphone accessory!

Along with some brightly colored and shimmery eggs filled with goodies, My Little Pony: The Movie Blind Bags are another fun surprise to add to an Easter basket. Inspired by the characters from the movie, these blind bags have a fun surprise inside. Each bag has an adorable pony figure and collector card. There are 24 in the collection for you to create exciting stories from Equestria!

My Little Pony Easter Basket

This My Little Pony Easter Basket is a great gift to spark more imaginative play and is the perfect gift for the My Little Pony fan in your life! These toys are also a "magical" choice for other occasions like birthdays and Christmas.

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

Shopkins have been slowly taking over our house over the past year. Whenever my daughter earns some screen time, she immediately puts on her headphones to watch unboxing videos done by her fellow Shopkin fanatics. She's even done a few unboxing videos of her own! Because of this passion for tiny supermarket figures, I decided to put together the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket!

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

The fun part about creating a Shopkins-themed Easter basket is that you can choose to spend as much or as little money as you want. Just keep your eyes open for sales, and Shopkins accessories in unexpected places. From tiny stickers to t-shirts, there's a lot of fun items that you can add for just a few of dollars!

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

As I was perusing the Target Dollar Spot/Bullseye's Playground (my favorite), I came across a whole lot of Shopkins paraphernalia. Jackpot! The giant pencil is a favorite amongst her classmates, and the Shopkins character erasers will go great with it. I also found a cute Shopkins stationery set with pen, notebook and little notepads. All four of these items were $1 each!!

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

The 6 pack of pencils will be perfect for homework, and the pencil pouch is perfect to hold the all the stationery accessories and of course the kajillion Shopkins Collector's Lists! The pencil pack was $1, and the pouch (with a few accessories included) was $3.

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

The four-pack of Shopkins gel pens will be fun for writing in her notebooks, as well as using the Shopkins Stamp Set. Sticker books are always a win, especially if puffy stickers are included!! All three of these items were $1.

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

Umbrellas are always a great Easter basket filler idea, and this Shopkins umbrella was too cute to pass up. I also found some $1 Shopkins bandages, and a mystery plush hanger/keychain, and a set of 3 magnets. Totally random, but they will be such a fun addition to the basket! Because this is an Easter basket, I also grabbed a couple of Shopkins Easter Eggs (2 Shopkins in each).

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

Walmart is also a great place to find inexpensive Shopkins items! The Shopkins watch was a lucky clearance find, and the stuffed Shopkins Poppy Corn just had to come home with me. In the Easter aisles, I found some lenticular/holographic eggs with Strawberry Kiss on the front.

I always enjoyed getting new spring clothes for Easter. You can also find a pretty large selection of Shopkins tees in the girls clothing to pick from. Another lucky find was this blue Shopkins basket that was on clearance for $3. It is the PERFECT-sized basket to hold all of this amazing loot and can also be used for play after Easter is over!

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

The Strawberry Kiss lenticular/holographic eggs are great for holding Shopkins, erasers, or any other tiny objects you want to add to the basket.

One of the larger purchases was one of the Shopkins Shoppies dolls. They are all so adorable and cost about $10-14. They include 2 Shopkins, and other accessories. Not sure which one to pick? You really can't go wrong with any of them, but I decided to take my daughter to the store to look at the Shoppies one day and nonchalantly asked which ones were her favorites. The next day, I went back to pick one up for the basket!

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

Last, but not least, I also grabbed a 12 pack of Shopkins. You can find these packs for a great deal to get more figures for your money. Place the unopened package in the basket, or open it up and put the Shopkins into Easter eggs for a little more excitement.

Surprise a Shopkins fan with the Ultimate Shopkins Easter Basket overflowing with their tiny favorites!

I lined the bottom with some tissue paper and Easter grass, then carefully arranged all the Shopkins items into the Shopkins shopping basket. By the way, this doesn't just have to be an Easter gift idea. You can also arrange the gift basket for birthdays, Christmas, or just for fun!!

Do you have a Shopkins fan in your life? Which Shopkin is their favorite?

Decorate your home for Easter with this easy-to-make DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath!

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

After doing a little Easter shopping for our upcoming family Easter egg hunt, I came across these glittery beauties and couldn't resist adding them to the cart. Instead of filling them with sweet treats and surprises though, I decided they needed to adorn my walls every spring instead in the form of a wreath!!

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

You only need 3 supplies:
4 dozen Multi-Colored Glittered Easter Eggs (I found mine at Walmart)
Glue Gun & Glue Sticks

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

Step 1: Hold the egg carefully in your hand and add a large drop of glue on the center of the egg.

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

Step 2: Carefully place the egg on the wreath form and hold in place for a few minutes until the glue has set.

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

Step 3: Place the rest of the eggs close to each other until the wreath is covered. You won't need to cover the back of the wreath since it won't be seen.

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

Step 4: Once the wreath is covered with sparkling eggs, you're done! You can add embellishments like ribbon or Easter grass, but I decided to keep mine with just the eggs. Glue a small piece of ribbon shaped like a "U" on the back to work as a wreath hanger.

DIY Glittered Easter Egg Wreath

This wreath is so easy to make and doesn't take too long at all. It's a great crafternoon or girl's night project, but prepare to be covered in glitter when you're done! Obviously, the larger the wreath, the more eggs you will need. I also recommend putting on your favorite movie or binge-watching some Netflix while you make your wreath since the gluing can get a little monotonous after a while. Just watch your fingers so you don't burn yourself!!

Hang the wreath on your door or walls, or stand it up on a shelf with your favorite Easter knick knacks and decor. I am absolutely loving this wreath and hope you do, too!

DIY Personalized Easter Basket

DIY Personalized Easter Basket at artsyfartsymama.com

I am always looking for a way to make holidays more personalized for my family. One idea I had was to make an Easter basket more unique for my daughter. I just needed to find a cute fabric basket and I could easily give it that personal touch with vinyl!

DIY Personalized Easter Basket at artsyfartsymama.com

The past few years, my daughter has either used an old bucket or flimsy Easter baskets and was long overdue for something better. I found this adorable polka dot basket in the Target spot for $3! This basket is plastic on the inside and covered in fabric, so I immediately knew what to do with it to make it our own.

DIY Personalized Easter Basket at artsyfartsymama.com

I typed up my daughter's name and added Easter egg design for the "O". Then I cut it out of white glitter heat transfer vinyl with my handy Cricut.

DIY Personalized Easter Basket at artsyfartsymama.com

With the basket being rounded and lined with plastic, it was going to be hard to use my regular iron. I found this Tulip Mini Fashion Iron that was the perfect size and gets just hot enough for this kind of job! I highly recommend this one if you are looking for ironing small areas or doing smaller vinyl projects with heat transfer vinyl.

Once the vinyl has adhered to the fabric, peel off the carrier sheet and the newly personalized basket is ready to fill with plastic Easter eggs, little gifts and candy!
