The weather is getting colder, which means it's finally hot cocoa season! There are so many creative cocoa creations, which makes the freezing winter weather a little more bearable. As an ode to my favorite winter beverage, I'm putting together a small cocoa station in my kitchen, complete with this *sparkling* new piece of glass block decor. When it comes to making pie, I'll be the first to admit that it's not my strong suit. Pie in miniature form, however, is actually easy-peasy!! These adorable Apple Pie Pops are made with with a delectable apple pie filling enveloped in a flaky pie crust, and baked on a stick. Pie (in general) is a popular dessert around the holidays, and these Apple Pie Pops are something you can definitely make with confidence to serve at your next holiday party! They are the perfect size to serve to guests on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even the 4th of July, and look adorable all packaged up to share as a sweet gift!

Creating handmade cards is a lot of fun, and it's a great way to spend an afternoon. Life can get busy, so I like to whip up a bunch of cards to keep on-hand for any occasion. I was inspired to make "Happy Everything" cards using the new Deco Foil "Happy Everything" Stamp & Die Set and Adhesive Transfers. These are the cutest cards, and are so easy! Hocus Pocus Binx Cat Spell Sign

Straight out of the Hocus Pocus spell book, this stenciled sign features the iconic spell used to turn Thackery Binx into our favorite black cat!

One of my favorite scenes in Hocus Pocus is when our favorite witch trio is casting the black cat spell on Thackery Binx. It's just so mesmerizing, and we're always chanting along when it comes to that part of the movie. Because of our love of Hocus Pocus, I thought it would be fun to put the words of that iconic spell onto a piece of decor to put on display for Halloween.

By using my Ikonart kit, I was able to easily create a stencil to paint the quote onto a sign. It was so simple to make, and I absolutely love how it turned out! As a bonus, I'm also sharing the FREE design so that you can get inspired to make one of these signs for yourself!!
