These Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders include everything you love about the traditional dish, but comes in the convenient form of a slider!

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders

My family loves Chicken Cordon Bleu, but it can definitely be a lot of work! These Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders include everything we love about the traditional dish, but comes in the convenient form of a slider! They are so easy to make using Hawaiian rolls and layers of ham, chicken, and Swiss cheese, topped with a buttery mixture and then baked to gooey perfection. This is a great recipe for a quick family dinner, or can easily be made to feed a crowd.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders are are easy to make, taste great, and can feed a crowd. Here's what you'll need:

(Specific measurements and full recipe instructions are found below)

  • slider buns: I prefer to use Hawaiian Sweet Rolls for this recipe, but any slider buns will work.
  • ham
  • chicken: I personally use shredded rotisserie chicken because it's easiest, but you can use shredded or cuts of chicken breast,  chicken fingers, or even chicken nuggets!
  • Swiss cheese
  • cream sauce: combine dijon mustard, mayonnaise, cayenne, and salt to make a creamy sauce to layer on the sliders
  • garlic butter mixture: combine butter, garlic, salt, and parsley to brush over the rolls for extra flavor.

You will also need a mixing bowl, 7"x11" baking dish, and parchment paper.

Cut the slider buns in half, horizontally, and place the bottom half into the baking dish. Mix up the cream sauce ingredients, and spread it out over the buns.

Fold the ham slices in half, then arrange them evenly over the buns.

Next, add the layer of chicken over the top of the ham. Now, this can be cut or shredded chicken breasts or rotisserie chicken, or you could even use breaded chicken fingers or chicken nuggets instead. The most important thing about this layer of chicken is that it is cooked thoroughly.

Lastly, arrange slices of Swiss cheese on top of the layer of chicken. Make sure that the layer of cheese covers the surface of the buns.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders

Place the top half of the buns on top. Mix up the garlic butter mixture and brush it over the top of the buns.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders

Cover and bake the sliders at 350º to warm all of the layers up and to get the cheese nice and gooey. Then, uncover and bake for a little bit longer to toast the surface of the bread.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders

Remove the sliders from the oven, and slice the rolls into individual sandwiches. The sliders are best when served hot, right out of the oven.
