DIY Bunny Treat Jars

These easy DIY Bunny Treat Jars make adorable Easter decor or a sweet gift for a friend!

DIY Bunny Treat Jars

I've been working on getting my home ready for spring, and I'm so excited about it! These DIY Bunny Treat Jars are probably one of the easiest Easter crafts I have ever made, and I absolutely adore them. Not only do they add a bright pop of color to my spring decor shelf, but they will be a unique and fun handmade gift to share with friends and family for Easter. This would also be a fun project to make during a spring craft night with the girls!

To make your own DIY Bunny Treat Jars, you will need these supplies:

I found the pair of bunny figures and the pair of jars in the Target dollar spot for $3 each, which makes each Bunny Treat Jar about a $5 gift!

The black lids on the jars was a little too dark for spring or Easter decor, so I brightened them up with a little bit of white chalk paint. One coat should be enough, but you can add more if you feel it needs more coverage. Once the paint has dried, use some sandpaper to roughen up the lids and give them a worn farmhouse look.

Add a generous dollop of adhesive to the bottom of each moss bunny figurine. Carefully place the figurine on top of each lid. Press the bunny down into place and let the adhesive dry completely.

While the adhesive is drying, fill the jars with your favorite spring surprises or Easter candy. If you are giving this as a gift, you could also hide a gift card inside with the candy!

Once dry, carefully twist the lids onto the jars. Wrap a length of jute twine or hemp cord around the edge of the lid to dress it up a little bit and to add some texture.

These DIY Bunny Treat Jars are so easy to make and look so cute sitting up on my shelf with my other Easter decor. Because they are so inexpensive and simple to make, I plan on heading back to get more bunnies and jars to give to family and friends as Easter gifts.

I would love to hear if you decide to try this project out for yourself. As always, I would love to see your creations! Share yours on InstagramFacebook, or leave a comment/photo on the project pin on Pinterest! #AFMCrafts
