Kids of all ages will love making their own Hand-Stamped Foil Notebooks!
If you're looking for a simple and sweet gift for your child to make for their teachers and friends, these Hand-Stamped Foil Notebooks are just the thing! We used the Laura Kelly Designs Therm-O-Web Collection to make these notebooks, and had such a fun time. Kids will love combining different character stamps to represent the people they love, and can apply foil in a mess-free way!
To make your own Hand-Stamped Foil Notebooks, you will need these supplies:
Tap the stamp on a stamp pad a few times. Before stamping on your project, practice using the stamp a few times on a scrap piece of paper to get a feel for it. Once you're comfortable, stamp onto the center of the notebook cover.
Apply lines of Easy-Tear Tape wherever you want to add pops of color. This double-sided tape is one of my favorites, and really is easy to tear! Once the tape is placed on the notebook, press it down well and then peel off the liners.
Creatively Beth came up with these clever 5 Minute Gift Wrapping Ideas to make your gifts look adorable on the outside!!
Place a foil transfer sheet over the top of the notebook and rub the sheet with your finger where the tape is placed. Slowly peel the foil away to reveal shiny lines across the notebook. If there are any spots that have been missed, place the foil sheet over the area and rub it again.
Isn't this notebook adorable? These are so fun and simple for kids (of all ages) to make, and there are so many ways that you can customize the covers using stamps and foil!
For the back, my daughter added a sentiment stamp phrase and used marker to sign her name. This is a sweet way to personalize notebooks that will be given as a gift to teachers and friends!
I love how simple this project is, and that we were able to create multiple notebooks using the Laura Kelly Designs Therm-O-Web Collection. When the holidays are over, we will probably make another collection of notebooks to share a little bit of kindness with those who need a little extra love.
