Thanks to JIMMY Patterson Books for the opportunity to share this great book. Although this post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

Sci-Fi Junior High Book Review and Free Printable Outer Space Bookmarks #SciFiJuniorHigh

My daughter is an avid reader. She is often found staying up WAY past her bedtime hiding under the covers with a flashlight so she can read "just one more page". When she heard about the opportunity to help me review the latest JIMMY Patterson book, she couldn't wait for it to arrive. Jacky Ha-Ha, the Treasure Hunters series, and Word of Mouse are some of our favorite JIMMY Patterson books to read together, so we knew right away that Sci-Fi Junior High was sure to be out of this world.

Presented by JIMMY Patterson BooksSci-Fi Junior High's gleefully illustrated space adventure is a laugh on every page. And with 320 pages, that's a lot of laughs!
Kelvin Klosmo isn't just the new kid at school - he's the new kid in the galaxy! Welcome to Sci-Fi Junior High: an inter-galactic space station with students of all shapes, sizes, smells, and... slime content. As the son of Earth's two most famous geniuses, Kelvin isn't just the smartest kid in the world....he's the smartest kid in the UNIVERSE. At least, that's what everybody at Sci-Fi Junior High thinks.
So, maybe Kelvin lied a little about being a genius to fit in. And maybe a mad scientist is about to take over the universe unless Kelvin can stop him. Maybe everyone is doomed.
Well, at least Kelvin won't have to worry about math homework anymore.
Sci-Fi Junior High is an out-of-this-world story about friendship, accepting our differences, and the fight against evil... bunnies. Yes, evil bunnies - don't ask.

About the Authors:
Scott Seegert is the author of the Vordak the Incomprehensible series. He lives in Farmington, MI with his wife, Margie, and their three children.

John Martin is an illustrator, graphic artist, and website designer. He is the illustrator for the Vordak the Incomprehensible series. He lives in Farmington Hills, MI, with his wife, Mary, and their three children.

There are two major things that the authors want you to take away from this story: first, don’t worry about trying to impress everybody. It’s okay to just be yourself. People (or, in this case, six-eyed aliens and giant talking slugs) will still like you - at least the ones worth having as friends. Secondly, we hope kids just have a blast reading it. We try our best to have something exciting or ridiculous or weird to read or look at on pretty much every page. We hope that even the most reluctant reader will want to keep turning the page to see what absurdness comes next.

Like the main character, Kelvin, my daughter also loves spending time with her pet dog! I love seeing my daughter obsess over books like I do. She couldn't put the book down and it was so fun to watch her giggle to herself while she was reading. She can't wait to see if there will be a sequel in the future!!
