These 3-Ingredient Patriotic Strawberries are incredibly simple to make, totally festive, and guaranteed to be a hit at your 4th of July party!

These 3-Ingredient Patriotic Strawberries couldn't be easier to make, and is a great patriotic side dish or dessert to share with your family or with friends at a Memorial Day or 4th of July party. Here's what you'll need:
(Specific measurements and full recipe instructions are found below)
- strawberries - washed and dried completely. Any moisture on the strawberries, and the chocolate will not stick!
- vanilla almond bark - adds a creamy, sweet coating to the strawberries. You can easily substitute with
white chocolate melting wafers.white chocolate chips or - blue sanding sugar- adds a pop of blue color and crunch
Other fruit options in place of strawberries:

Wash the strawberries well, leaving the stem intact. Dry the strawberries VERY well. If they are even a little bit wet, the almond bark coating won't stick.
Melt the vanilla almond bark using one of these two methods:
- Double Boiler: Place the almond bark in a double boiler over medium heat, stirring frequently until smooth.
- Microwave: Heat almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring between each one until fully melted.
Once the almond bark is silky smooth, dip the strawberry in and leave the top ⅓ uncovered. Lift the strawberry out and gently twist to let the excess chocolate fall back into the bowl.

Next, dip the strawberry into the sanding sugar, coating half of the almond bark layer in color. Gently place the strawberry onto the parchment paper. Repeat the dipping process for the remaining strawberries.

Because dipped strawberries have a tendency to sweat and release moisture, these are best served within 1-2 days, preferably the same day.

3-Ingredient Patriotic Strawberries
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 20-30 strawberries
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds fresh strawberries, stems attached
- 24 ounces vanilla almond bark
- ¼ cup blue sanding sugar
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet or sturdy cutting board with wax or parchment paper. Set aside.
- Wash the strawberries and then dry them VERY well. It's important to dry the strawberries well, because if they are the least bit wet the chocolate will not stick!
- Pour the sanding sugar into a bowl and set aside.
- Microwave the almond bark in 30 second intervals, stirring at each 30 second interval until melted.
- Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip it into melted almond bark, leaving the top ⅓ of the strawberry uncovered. Lift and twist slightly to let the excess chocolate fall back into the bowl.
- Dip the strawberry into the sanding sugar, coating it about halfway up the almond bark layer.
- Gently place the strawberry on the parchment paper. Repeat with the rest of the strawberries.
- Chill the strawberries until the almond bark sets, about 15 minutes.
Tips:
- Storage: Strawberries are best served the same day since the chocolate on the strawberries will cause them to sweat and release moisture. However, leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for about 2-3 days.
