Free Printable Winter Math Mazes

Help kids practice math facts this winter with these fun and FREE Printable Math Mazes!

I like to find fun and creative ways to help keep kids learning, especially during winter school breaks. Practicing math facts isn't something most kids get excited about, but I think these printable math mazes (that also double as a coloring page) will be a lot of fun! In this free set, kids can practice number sequence, addition, subtraction, multiplication, AND division - so there's something for everyone. These mazes are a fun and educational activity in a homeschool or classroom setting, or as a creative way to spend an otherwise boring (and freezing) afternoon.

The addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division math mazes all work the same way: Begin with the math problem at the "start" and find the solution. Color in the hexagon, and then follow the right answer to move to the next hexagon. Keep answering problems and moving through the maze until you help the penguin reach the igloo at the finish line!

The number sequence maze is a lot simpler, meant for preschool and kindergarten math levels. In these mazes, there are no math problems to solve. Simply begin at the "Start" and color the first hexagon. Next, move from that number to the next hexagon in number sequence order and repeat until you get to the "finish" hexagon.

If you are a teacher or would like to reuse the math maze printables time after time, you can easily do this with either of these two options: a lamination machine, or use dry erase pockets. My husband loves using these pockets in the classroom because you can easily store multiple printables at once, and they are fairly inexpensive.

Once laminated or pocketed, kids can use dry erase markers to write down the answers and to color the images. After you're done, simply wipe the marker off the plastic and store the printable for the next use.

This set of Free Printable Math Mazes include THREE mazes each of number sequence, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. After downloading and printing the pages out, I'd recommend coloring the maze with your favorite colored pencils, crayons, or markers.
