Kids Cooking Kit with Caboodles

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Caboodles, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #cuethecaboodles http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Raise your hand if you owned a Caboodle of your own back in the day... I sure did, and absolutely loved it. Today the Caboodles brand is all grown up and just as fun and fashionable as ever, creatively organizing everything you own with the latest designs. My daughter has been asking to learn to cook lately, so I am really looking forward to giving her her own Caboodle this year for her birthday packed with everything she needs to create her favorite recipes! What's even better is that once she's grown up a bit, she can use her Caboodle to store her own make-up collection!

I found the super cute hot pink On The Go Girl Caboodle at Walmart for only $12.97! I have always loved the way Caboodles make it easy to organize make-up, craft supplies, and basically anything you own while still looking fun and stylish. The compartments on this particular Caboodle are just what I was looking for to put a basic cooking kit together.

While at Walmart, I was also able to find EVERYTHING I needed for the cooking kit! Don't you just love one-stop shopping? Plus, all the utensils and supplies I found are colorful, fun, and of course affordable. Since she is going to be learning the basics, I included items like a mixing spoon, spatulas, whisk, timer, measuring cups and spoons, and you can't forget the reversible superhero apron! I also found an inexpensive photo book to hold some printable recipe cards.

When everything was piled together it looked like a lot of items, but it all fit wonderfully in the Caboodle!! Even the apron fit after folding and rolling it up. I also added the recipe book and a couple of pencils in the top compartments in case she finds a new recipe she wants to add and keep her favorites all in one place.

I've also included some recipe cards and a recipe book cover in case you'd like to put your own cooking kit together for a little chef in your life. There are recipe cards to record your favorite main dish, side dish, and dessert recipes. All the cards and the cover are 4x6" and will fit perfectly in a plastic photo album.
