Beefy Macaroni Casserole

This dinner is quick and easy to throw together, and really simple to customize (add in vegetables, spices, etc). It's also freezable and stays well if you make it ahead of time, or it would be perfect for taking to a sick friend or neighbor.

Beefy Macaroni Casserole at #recipe #easyrecipe

1 package elbow macaroni
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
2 (6 oz) cans tomato sauce
1-2 tsp garlic salt
salt & pepper
2 cups cheddar cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese

  1. Cook pasta according to package (al dente), drain.
  2. While macaroni is cooking, brown the ground beef and drain.
  3. Add tomato sauce and garlic salt to meat and combine. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour meat/sauce mixture and pasta into lightly greased 9x13" pan. Stir in 1 cup cheddar and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
