Learn how to make a handmade blanket using rainbow loop yarn!

Rainbow Loop Yarn Blanket

I've always wanted to learn to knit or crochet, but I just haven't gotten the hang of it yet. As a fun twist of fate, I learned about the existence of loop yarn. Have you seen it? It's a soft and fluffy yarn with loops pre-sewn into it, and comes in so many fun colors. The best part? You can create a blanket without the use of crochet hooks or knitting needles - all you need is your hands! It's so simple, even kids can do it! I've been so excited to show you this Rainbow Loop Yarn Blanket, and hope you decide to give it a try!

Creating a Half Hexi Quilt is easy when you use the Cricut Maker machine! #CricutMade

My mother-in-law is an amazing quilter. Whenever we go to visit, she shows me her latest projects and I am always in awe of her work. I've always wanted to learn to quilt, and have even gone as far purchasing fabrics to get one started. Then I get overwhelmed thinking about the cutting process and crossing your fingers that the pieces are going to line up properly once you sew them together.

Keep your teddy bear warm and cozy wherever you go with this Easy Snuggle Quilt! It's a great beginning quilting project and makes a great gift.

Did you have a favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal that you couldn't part with as a child? My daughter has always had a "soft" spot in her heart for stuffed animals and cuddly blankets. She's got a few particular favorites that go practically everywhere with us, which also means we need to throw it in the wash often to keep them fresh and soft as ever. September 9th was National Teddy Bear day, so to celebrate, we put together a snuggle quilt for our Snuggle teddy bear - the newest addition to her stuffed animal family!

Following the EASY instructions from Green Apple Orchard, I was able to make my baby girl a rag quilt for Christmas!! I am a VERY beginner sew-er, so I was so happy that this project was so do-able for me!! I love how it turned out. It was so fun picking out the fabric and putting it together. I'm so grateful to have a mother and mother-in-law so talented in sewing so they could help me out!
Here are the fabrics I chose for the blanket:
