These festive, 3-ingredient Grinch Oreo Truffles are the perfect no-bake holiday treat!
Crush the cookies, cream and all, into a fine crumb. You can do this by putting them into a sealed plastic bag and crushing them with your hands or a rolling pin, or you can put the cookies into a food processor and pulse them to crumbs.
Once crushed, keep the cookies in the food processor or add the crumbs to a large mixing bowl. Add in the softened cream cheese, and then mix together until you get a thick, paste-like consistency.
Use a cookie scoop and roll the Oreo mixture into 1" balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. The truffles will be soft, so I recommend placing them into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or in the freezer for about 15 minutes, to allow them to firm up.
Melt the green candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, or a melt in a double boiler until smooth. Dip a truffle into the green chocolate until completely coated. Gently tap to remove the excess. Place the truffle back onto the baking sheet and immediately top with a red heart sprinkle.
Let the truffle coating set completely before serving. To make the process quicker, just pop them into the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
