Christmas Elf Laundry Wreath

Let the elves air their adorably tiny laundry on this Christmas Elf Laundry Wreath!

Christmas Elf Laundry Wreath

Are you ready for a Christmas craft project to make this weekend? This Christmas Elf Laundry Wreath is easy, and looks absolutely adorable on the front door. With just a few supplies, including some elf clothing, you can have a new piece of holiday decor to get you into the Christmas spirit! I'm so excited about this new piece of Christmas decor and I hope you love it just as much as I do.

The idea for this wreath came after finding these adorable elf clothes ornaments. Aren't they so fun?! They are made of felt, and I love that they come on tiny wire hangers. A few sets of these ornaments would be so cute on a tree, but for this project, you will only need one set. If you have an Elf on the Shelf, you could even swap out the clothes that they like to wear!

Wrap a 14" foam wreath with some red 1 1/2" ribbon, attaching using hot glue as needed. Next, add some texture and winter flair with some white snowflake ribbon. Try to space it out as evenly as possible, and attach using hot glue as needed. Be sure to use some finger caps so you don't burn yourself!

For the clothesline, cut a 10" or so length of Christmas baker's twine and tie knots at both ends. Put a little drop of glue on the inside of the wreath, and place the knot into the glue. Use something like a toothpick or the end of some scissors to hold the knot in place while the glue sets. Attach the other end of the string to the opposite side so that the string hangs through the inside of the wreath.

Remove the hangers, and attach the tiny elf clothes to the clothesline using mini clothespins.

Next, I added a white glittered bow to the top of the wreath, and then made another bow out of green glittered ribbon to put in the center for a pop of color.

Last, I attached the foam wreath to a larger faux pine wreath with some floral wire. I am absolutely in love with this new Christmas wreath, and it looks so cute on my front door! This wreath is pretty simple to make, and would be a fun project for a craft night with the girls. As always, I would love to see your creations if you decide to make this project!
