Mini Elf Stockings

Elf on the Shelf Stocking Countdown

These miniature Christmas stockings are the perfect size for your elf! There are 24 in a set, so I plan to have our elf hang one of these stockings up around the house each day leading up to Christmas as a fun countdown. The stockings are only about 1" wide, so you need to put something small inside. Think papers for Christmas activities, puzzle pieces, little notes or scriptures, acts of kindness, or miniature candies.

Elf Bowling

Elf on the Shelf Bowling

Who doesn't love a good game of bowling?! This Miniature Bowling Game is going to be a strike with the kids! The pins are about 2 1/4" tall, and the game comes with two game balls. I'm going to have the game set up next to the elf, with him holding one of the bowling balls as if he had been playing. Leaving the other ball out makes it so the kids can play with the bowling set all day!

Top Secret Kindness Missions

Elf on the Shelf Secret Kindness Missions

SSHHH!! Your elf can use these Kindness Mission Cards to transform kids into top secret agents and make kindness their mission throughout the Christmas season! Just write a letter from your elf informing your kids of becoming agents and to help them spread some Christmas cheer. Put a new card or two out each day leading up to Christmas. Your kids will be anxiously awaiting their next mission, and who knows - maybe they will start making up some ideas on their own!

There are 50 Kindness Mission Cards that share "classified" missions with different acts of kindness that use the secret agent tool to decode. From making cards to playing games to sharing books, these simple tasks encourage kids to show good behavior and are fun to complete!

Christmas Toss Game

Brace your-elf, hours of fun await! Have a Christmas Toss Game already colored and assembled by your elf, and then lay out some crayons and blank game sets for your kids to color their own! The set comes with pom-poms, so everyone can take turns tossing them them right away.

North Pole Special Delivery

Elf on the Shelf Secret Delivery Bags

This idea is my personal favorite. Everyone loves a surprise straight from the North Pole! As soon as I saw these Mini Santa Canvas Drawstring Bags, I knew they would be the perfect elf accessory. You can use these bags for practically anything - mail bags to and from Santa, candy, small gifts, or as a creative 12 Days of Christmas activity!

Elf on the Shelf Secret Delivery Bags

I'm thinking I will use these bags for mail and for small surprises throughout the holiday season. You can find so many small toys and Christmas activities that kids of all ages will love that will fit into the bags. For example, I'm going to toss in some Christmas candy, and then add small items like a Fidget Cube (perfect for my ADHD daughter), Plush Penguin Squishy, coloring Christmas puzzles, Hugging Reindeer Bracelet, Snow-Filled Surprise Globes, and SO much more!

Now that I have all of these items ready to go, I am counting down the days until our Elf on the Shelf arrives! I hope that I've inspired you with these simple and creative ideas to have some fun with your own Elf this holiday season. I would love to hear your ideas in the comments, or if you think of any other Elf on the Shelf traditions we could incorporate. Happy Holidays!!
