Cut out the Valentines with scissors or a paper cutter. There are 6 Valentines per page on the printable.

Use the scissors to poke two small holes in the center of the Valentine. Choose the ring you want to pair with the Valentine, then grab some cute baker's twine or colored string. Cut a piece about 4-5 inches long.

Thread the string through the back of the Valentine.

Tie the ring onto the Valentine. This will keep the ring in place, but will also be removed easily once the Valentine is handed out.

Make your Big Game Party a TOUCHDOWN with Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Popcorn served in Free Printable Football Popcorn Boxes!

Orville Redenbacher® Movie Theater Butter popcorn has always been my favorite. Not just because of it's delightful buttery flavor, but because I associate some special memories with it. When my great-grandpa would come to visit, my mom would get out the old air popper and make him a giant bowl of buttery popcorn. I would always scoot as close as I could so that I could share the popcorn with him. He died while I was still young, and for the longest time, I thought that the Orville Redenbacher image was a picture of my great-grandpa. So, that's why Orville Redenbacher will always have my heart!

So, it only makes sense that one of my favorite snacks is popcorn. From snack time, to movie nights at home, to celebrating the Big Game together, you can count on a bowl of popcorn sitting out to be enjoyed at every occasion!

Popcorn and popcorn recipes are simple to prepare. By combining some of your favorite flavors or candy with popcorn, you can create some amazing recipes like this Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Popcorn! It's the perfect sweet & salty snack and comes together in just minutes. It's also easy enough for the kids to help with!

Pop a bag of popcorn and immediately pour it out onto a cookie sheet to cool. This also makes it easy for you to remove any un-popped kernels - but be careful, they're hot!!

Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Popcorn #AllStarSnackBar

After you remove the kernels, start melting some chocolate melting wafers. I used milk chocolate, but the beauty of making your own popcorn recipes is that you can choose your favorite flavors! Melt 15-20 wafers in the microwave according to package directions. Use a spoon and drizzle the chocolate on the popcorn as evenly as you can.

Next, melt some caramels. I had better luck melting them on the stovetop, but you can also use the microwave. Add a tablespoon or two of water to thin it out a little, then drizzle it on the popcorn. I drizzled the caramel in the opposite direction of the chocolate.

Let the chocolate and caramel cool. Since the chocolate and caramel now hold the popcorn together, you'll need to use your hands to split up the popcorn. Next, grab a handful of chocolate-covered pretzels and break them into pieces. Stir the pretzels in with the popcorn, and voila! Easy, right?

Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Popcorn

Ingredients:
1 bag Orville Redenbacher Movie Theater Butter Popcorn (Classic Bag)
15-20 chocolate melting wafers
10 caramels
1 cup chocolate-covered pretzels, broken into pieces

Directions:
  1. Pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave until there's 1-2 seconds between pops.
  2. Remove popcorn bag from microwave. Open and pour the popcorn out onto a large cookie sheet to cool. Carefully remove all the un-popped kernels (be careful, they will be hot).
  3. While the popcorn is cooling, place 15-20 chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl and melt it in the microwave for 1 minute, and then in 30-second increments until the chocolate is melted. Stir until smooth.
  4. Using a spoon, drizzle the chocolate over the pan of popcorn.
  5. Unwrap the caramels and pour them into a small saucepan. Cook on medium-low to low heat, and stir constantly so the caramels don't burn. Add a tablespoon or two of water to thin the caramels.
  6. Once the caramels have completely melted, use a spoon to drizzle the caramel over the popcorn.
  7. After the chocolate and caramel has cooled, the popcorn will need to be split apart and placed in a bowl.
  8. Break chocolate-covered pretzels into fourths or small, popcorn-sized pieces. Mix the pretzels in with the popcorn.
  9. Pour Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Popcorn into Football Popcorn Boxes to enjoy at your Game Day party!

Use a scoring tool and a ruler to make creases along the edges of the popcorn boxes so that they will be easier to fold.

Custom Newlywed Gift Tote with Cricut

Create multiple gifts and combine them into one in a Custom Newlywed Gift Tote with Cricut!

My baby brother just got married, and I am so excited for him and his new wife! She is totally adorable and I am elated to have her as my new sister. After organizing my craft stash this past month, I noticed just how much vinyl I have in stock and decided to use it in the best way possible.

Create multiple gifts and combine them into one in a Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

I've had a couple of ideas in mind for a gift I could give them, and then thought, "why not do them all?" Ergo, the Custom Newlywed Gift Tote which is full of surprises that I think the happy couple will love! With the Cricut Explore, you can make so many different kinds of projects by using vinyl, iron-on vinyl (heat transfer vinyl/HTV), paper and more to create a one-of-a-kind gift in not much time at all.

Create multiple gifts and combine them into one in a Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

I found some basic items that would make for a great gift for newlyweds, like pillowcases, a frame, and more. I also grabbed a cute tote bag to put it all in. The great thing about a gift bag like this is you can choose whatever you want and spend as much or as little as you want! The best advice I have is to use your imagination when purchasing items.

DIY "Best Day Ever" Frame - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

Newlyweds are drowning in photos of their engagement and big day, so I turned an otherwise average frame into a "Best Day Ever" Frame! For this frame, I uploaded my own image into Design Space and cut it out of Adhesive Vinyl in Midnight with the Cricut Explore. I also love that this frame can hold photos from all their special occasions - anniversaries, birthdays, and one day when they have their own kids.

DIY Ring Dish - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

I customized a glass heart dish with the same Adhesive Vinyl in Midnight with the happy couple's initials to turn it into Ring Dish! This can go in their kitchen or on a nightstand to place rings on when they're taken off. It can certainly be used for other things, but this is what I thought it could be when I picked it out.

DIY Adventure Fund Jar - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

The hardest part of being a newlywed is having the extra cash to go out and do the things you love to do. My brother and his new wife love the outdoors and living life to the fullest. So, I found this awesome jar and added some white vinyl to turn it into an Adventure Fund Jar! Now they can add their spare change to the jar to put toward future adventures.

DIY His & Hers Glasses - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

Another creative way to customize glass is to etch it! It's a little trickier than just applying vinyl, but these His & Hers Glasses are a lot of fun to make (watch for a full tutorial on this soon). You can use any kind of adhesive vinyl in any color!

DIY "Wifey Material" Shirt - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

I also wanted to make something special for my new sister-in-law, so I whipped up this cute "Wifey Material" Shirt for her to wear. I think she will look adorable in it! For this project, I typed up the words in Design Space and cut it out of Glitter Iron-on.

DIY Big & Little Spoon Pillowcases - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

You can do SO much with iron-on vinyl! I used some black Iron-on Lite Vinyl and red Glitter Iron-on to customize a pair of pillowcases. These Big Spoon, Little Spoon Pillowcases are easy to make. And when you are creating your own with the Cricut Explore, you can add whatever text and images you want!

DIY Adventure Tote - Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

I also designed "let the adventure begin" and cut it out of some black Iron-on Lite Vinyl to make an Adventure Tote Bag for my brother and his new wife to take on their outings. This also holds all of their gifts so that it won't take up too much room on their wedding gift table!

Create multiple gifts and combine them into one in a Custom Newlywed Gift Tote

I am so excited to give them this unique and personalized gift. Creating gift bags for friends and family has never been easier! If you've been looking into getting a machine for yourself, I would definitely recommend a Cricut Explore.

If you've got any questions at all about the Cricut or anything else in this post, please feel free to leave them in the comments.

What would you put into a Custom Newlywed Gift Tote?

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

Sponsored by LEGO, this fun LEGO Friends Amusement Park Space Ride is the perfect activity for kids to build their very own amusement park!

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

My daughter LOVES roller coasters. She has been begging to go back to amusement parks all year long, but most are too far away or closed for the season. While we've been stuck inside this winter, she's been building with LEGOs like crazy. This new LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride has kept her more entertained than I could have imagined. Plus, it has been so fun for her use her imagination and creativity to run her own amusement park!

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

For ages for ages 6-12, this LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride is a ton of fun to build and even more fun to play with! With the bright colors and the unique design kids will enjoy the building experience from beginning to end.

Combine this set with the Amusement Park Arcade, Amusement Park Hot Dog Van and the Amusement Park Roller Coaster to create the complete Heartlake Amusement Park!

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

Just like on most traditional roller coasters, you can take pictures of the customers enjoying the ride and sell them at the booth! The photo booth contains a moveable camera to take photos, a display board to show pictures taken during the ride, and an accessory dollar bill and photo piece.

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

Let's face it - amusement parks are HOT! Customers can cool off with an ice cream cone or a popsicle from the freezer of the ice cream stand after the ride. The freezer door opens up to show the popsicle, and there are two holders on each side to display ice cream cones. Mini-figures can push the cart around the amusement park to share with everyone!

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

The spinning Space Ride contains 3 rocket seats on articulated arms. As you spin the ride faster, the arms lift the rockets higher into the air! This part takes the longest to build, but it is definitely worth it in the end. This set offers an age-appropriate building experience for this age group. The 3 rockets are built exactly the same way, so it's a great way to help those construction skills!

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

The Olivia mini-doll figure fits perfectly in the rocket seats. If you have any other mini-figures, you can also put them in to go for a spin! The ride is surprisingly sturdy. We've been adding all the mini-figures we own and spin the ride as fast as we can. No one has fallen out yet and it has stayed together perfectly!

LEGO® Friends Amusement Park Space Ride

If you've got LEGO® Friends fans, this set is so much fun! The bright colors, holographic stickers, and unique accessories really make this a set that I would love to build with my daughter again and again. We can't wait to get more of the Heartlake Amusement Park sets to add to this one!

What's your favorite part of this LEGO® Friends set?
